Integral to SVARAM’s progressive vision is the manifestation of a Center for the Craft, Art and Science of Sound, a hub of learning for the global integration of humanity’s shared knowledge and experiences from without and from within, constantly progressing with cutting-edge innovation.
A SONIC Learning Center & Experience Field
The Integration
In a unique integration the SVARAM Center will bring together the diverse aspects of sound work, through the faculties of Craft, Arts and Science, offering mentored and experiential learning with hands, hearts, minds and spirit. It will be an institutional expansion of the already developing activities and R&D in
- Material studies, musical craft and innovative design,
- Healing arts and programmatic experiences, and
- Qualitative studies and applied research on the effect of vibration and specific frequencies on physical substance, psychological conditions, mind states and spiritual experiences.
We Can Only Do This Together
While SVARAM has proven financial sustainability with a steadily growing yearly turnover, the building of the Center will need core funding for the project. A third of the total construction costs are secured through an international foundation. Let us usher the growing enterprise from an earnest social development project into an integral learning and study center and rare skill-based manufacture, producer and unique service provider of international significance of “sonic gifts for a healthy humanity”.

The Architect
The late Balkrishna Vithaldas Doshi, awarded with the Pritzker Prize 2018, the Padma Shri, the Padma Bhushan, the Padma Vibhushan, and the Royal Institute of British Architects’ Royal Gold Medal for 2022, is considered one of the outstanding names of Indian architecture and noted for his contributions to the evolution of architectural discourse and innovative practices in India.

Studio & Community
Studios are dedicated spaces where the full capacity of human expression and creativity in all domains can be explored, focused and harnessed and ideally can be laboratories of human evolution.

A dedicated team of experts from the field of academic studies and practices in music, acoustics, architecture, sound and consciousness studies, the healing arts and medicine, heritage and craft culture, social justice and human unity are gathered to support the vision and manifestation of the center.
