Integrating Sound and Design to Create Harmonious, Resonant Spaces
Drawing on research into resonance, proportion, and acoustic ecology, SVARAM collaborates with architects and designers to create site-specific sound installations. Instruments, resonant sculptures and bio-sensored sound fields can be integrated into public spaces, residential projects and private living spaces, healing environments and contemplative, sacred architecture, bringing sound as a living, sensory element into design.
Having learned and worked with the modality of Sound Vastu as an integration of diverse knowledge fields, our expertise in proportional harmony, mathematics based tuning systems and material resonance allows for the development of spaces where sound supports and creates atmosphere, circulations and flow and the overall spatial experience of the inhabitant.
Our associated team of young sound engineers, music producers, acoustic ecologists and architects, landscape designers and music producers enables us to offer project consultancy in their varied capacities and coordinated efforts to create truly sound, wholesome spaces, that can invite and sustain inspiring positive vibrations. We have successfully worked with clients on โtuningโ spaces, envisioning, naming, conceptualizing and creating sonically supported and enhanced interiors and built environments.
